Hey all my fellow AMC country men.
I received a huge amount of feed back on my request for Coil over advice, but ultimately didn't get the answer I was searching for.... Does anyone have Ridetech or QA1 coil overs in the front of their 71-74 Javelin, while still utilizing the stock upper and lower suspension components? QA1 has the threaded stem that would mount into the stock shock absorber mounting hole, and I know what weight spring I would select....the Ride Tech has an adapter that could easily adapt the top mount to bolt up to the factory shock mount. I'm just looking for a recommendation from someone who has actually incorporated either of these on their stock vehicle and what "travel length" coil over (or part#), they actually used on their Javelin. As i mentioned in my last posting....primary reason for the conversion is the ability to lower the front end an 1-1/2" and provide some "tune-able" handling. Not looking for Autocross or Ferrari like handling... Daily driver... |

I don't know if you realized it, but this is in the electrical forum. Maybe it'll get a response in the suspension section?
Sorry I don't have any other help for you.
