http://www.ramclutches.com/discs.html

I ran the 300 series for a while, it worked ok for maybe 20,000 miles.  It was still working when I had an engine problem.  I am hoping for a little more power and a little less street driving for the next time so I bought a 900 series this time.  Have not tried it yet.
What I have experienced over the years is you can have 2800 to 3200 lb pressure, and run either a 10.5 or 10.95 disc (the 10.95 is basically an 11 inch disc that fits a 10.5 clutch)
I'd say a 10.95 disc with a 3200 lb borg and beck will be about as good as you can expect.  Hays, long style, all good options too

Why Organic? I ran a ram organic clutch in my scrambler for a short time..long enough to break the transmission.
I your wanting to build an 8000+ rpm engine(as you've stated in another thread) get an iron disc adjustable race clutch to save the driveline.

Yes building a fun high horse motor
Every time I use a upgraded specialty clutch I end up with scrap metal in about 10k miles. At that point I've had to replace flywheel!! Expensive
Godspeed
Thanks guys😎

If you want to play you have to pay for good parts. 2800.00 and about 600 to rebuild. I've never broken a driveline part with this.

That's why I switched to an automatic. My car only ran mid 11's and smoked 2 Ram Powergrips. Couldn't run the Powergrip
hd they want a billet flywheel($900). McLeod wanted to sell me a dual disc clutch($1200) but they state online and in person "this is not a race clutch". Slipper clutches are in the stratosphere cost wise so you can see why I switched.

And that's why I posted..to keep him from wasting more money just to be disappointed. So if you want a manual trans buy the good stuff the 1st time and you don't have to worry about it again.

He makes a single disc 10" or the dual 7"
The pressure ring is replaceable.
The thing is if you get tired of a manual you can sell it and get atleast half your money back or more..so in the end its really not too bad a deal..
