Will a 1973 Jeep Cherokee 360 V8 clutch van fit on a 1968 AMX 390 without issues?

I used a Hayden 2705 clutch, and an 18” fan. It fit perfectly with the factory shroud, like it was OEM.

Your Jeep fan clutch may or may not fit depending on if it is a standard duty (2705) or heavy duty (2747). The heavy duty model is slightly taller but would still probably fit.

Akimmet, Thanks for the info. The clutch fan is 18" dia made by Thermal Trol made in USA. It measures 3" tall. The AMX 390 fan is 2-1/8" tall. So, it may work.

Seems to my memory that the thermal clutch fan on my 1972 Wagoneer 360 is larger than 18". I could swear it was over 20". Giant, massive fan. That engine never runs over 210 degrees no matter what I do to it.

Fixed, as far as I know there is no such thing as a flex fan that fits a fan clutch.

Unaware if a Clutch Fan Mounts using a Fan Spacer,
there were various length Stock Fan Spacers.
This is the 67-72 Illustrated Parts Manual Fan Spacer Info:
