Here is a dealer sticker on the trunk lid of my Rebel Machine. I assume it was a used car lot sticker but I can't make out where it is located. I can read "Charlie's Auto Sales" and " Long - something" Google told me that it may be long Island City NY or Long Lake MN.

Does anyone have a clue where this sticker is from?

Thanks, Rick

Hey Rick, ... I can't make much of that bottom line out, but look at the spacing. Each line is centered on the tag, so that third line probably only has 10-11 letters/spaces.

....for some reason the first 4 letters looks like "LUNA", to me.... LUNA PIER (maybe)?  That'd be just down the road from where you're at...

I'm 98% sure I'm seeing "London" on the bottom line. Since you're in Michigan, it would make sense geographically that it's London, Ontario.

That car likely migrated south (or in this case, west) into the United States back in the '70s when cross-border stuff was considerably more lax than it is now. Hence there may not be much of a trail to follow in order to prove its Canadian lineage.

That's my theory on it, anyway.

I looked at it again this morning and it could very well say London on it. I will see if I can get a better picture. Now on to search for a Charlie's Auto Sales in London Ontario. I suppose there could be a town in the States named London. I will ask my Canadian Buddys Eh..
The second previous owner to me was named Al Timmer. I am just trying to find whatever info I can on it. For sure it was drag raced but to what extent is anyone's guess.

There is a London, Ohio too.
But I still think I can make out both London and the first three letters, Ont, of Ontario.
Good luck. I even tried using a graphics program to raise the contrast, but it did not help much.
I still think it is London, Ontario personally.
