Like above, only way is to try it. And like I said above AMC uses throttle cables after 1969.....

The WCD manifold has the two throttle bores one behind the other, in-line, doesn't it? That will be interesting for a BBD since the manifold made for them has the two bores side by side. The BBD will sit sideways from normal. Should be interesting.

It would have to be an 80 or 81 BBD -- the later models (at least as used on AMC sixes) are electronic carbs. A BBD from a Chrysler 318 will work as well... as long as it's not electronic. The 318 BBD is slightly larger than those used on Jeeps and Eagles, but not a great deal larger. Many have used them as upgrades on 258s.

They had BBD's in the late 1970's on 258's.
