on a bw 11 transmission on a 343 v8, where does the fill tube bracket bolt on to? mine is on back bolt exhaust manifold. seems to be a lot of heat on this way of mounting.

Usually on a bell housing bolt. I'd put it anywhere else I could find, for heat reasons...

It is originally on the right hand rear exhaust manifold bolt......some torque flights bolt to bell housing.....but all M-11 and M-12's go to that rear manifold bolt.

I wish it would fit on bell housing. only place it would work was on manifold bolt. I am going to try to move it somewhere besides the manifold. or figure some way to insulate it on the manifold bolt. thanks for the replies

Why would you worry about heat, there is no oil up there and any heat would be dissipated by the bracket and tube.

I concur with WesternRed. Heat in the tube is inconsequential. If it were a cooler line that might be different, but I'd wager that heat isn't effecting temps down where it meets the case.
