It still runs, but if you heard it at Cooly this year it sounded more lumpy than it should be.

Well it seems the car is free so maybe you could take it off his hands and let him sell the rest of the stuff to someone who has a Holden.

Honestly I don't know why you would bother putting a boat anchor 253 into anything, especially when it would be a lot easier to just drop a 360 AMC motor in there.

Ahh yes the old 253. The eight that goes like a six as they say. Wouldn't a 258 fit in perfectly if you are just chasing cubes?

I used to own that car a few years ago. I pulled the 232 auto out and on sold the car..... that motor is now in Garry's (Rambling On) 1967 American in Brisbane. It was ported, polished, balanced and I believe a very mild cam was fitted if I remember rightly..... too many years ago now. I also pulled out the rear venetion blind as well.

Be careful with this one..... The complete rear parcel shelf was completely cut out before I bought it and thats why I got rid of it. With this missing, I believe the body would become I little bit weaker.

I also noticed that the black velet clothed seats has been replaced with some crappy ones. The wheels and door trims are still the same when I had it.
