I got a call last night from a mechanic mate of mine on a lead for some Rambler bits (He knew I have been looking for a 4bbl manifold for my engine build)
I have rang the bloke and it seems to be all GEN II stuff so not much use to me. He told me a certain bloke in Adelaide wants to buy it all but he would like to see it go to an enthusiast instead. From what I remember from the conversation he has 2 x 290 engines, 1 long, 1 complete w/4bbl 1 x Borg warner trans 1 x Torqueflite (torque command) 1 x front end disc brake conversion with single piston calipers and new rotors All to suit a 67 rebel. The bloke is in Cobram Victoria (I think) and can be contacted on 0408 968 eight eight five. He was happy for me to pass on his details. Hope this can be helpful to someone. |

So it seems my situation is about to change and I may not be able to keep my Javelin project:( its media basted and in primer, got its share of rust (nothing too bad really) 360. all there but the carpet, seatbelts and headliner. Located in SA. Looking for offers at this stage

Did you end up updating any of the threads relating to this car with any pictures of it's current state? Last one I can find was it on a trailer heading to "paint jail" (the same reason I painted my own '74 Javelin in flat black) |

FOR SALE. Great resto project. Hard to find 1971 Matador sedan. 360 auto, power windows, power steer, under dash Air Cond, all complete. Does need work, rust in doors only but can sell other doors separate. Does drive but transmission requires service or rebuild. It had white vinal on roof which I removed as it was ripped and worn. Interior worn. The Matador in unrestored condition with original paint and trim. Does come with NOS hubcaps and some stainless trim. Nice colour combo. AMC wheels DO NOT COME WITH CAR. $2000 send me PM if interested. Can help with delivery rates.
