Hey guys,
The rocker shaft in my '64 has 2 adjusting nuts that are held together by wire (somehow) so they run out of adjustment almost immediately. Does anyone have 2 spare rocker arms or a spare rocker shaft? Can you get them through engine rebuilders?

Thanks for your email. I have got used rockers and rocker shaft assemblies. I am not certain if I have a new one. I will have to get back to you with an answer as to whether I have new ones. Thanks Jeff

Hi jeff, thanks for getting back to me. As long as the used rocker shaft's adjusting nuts are all ok, it should be fine. The 2 that are troublesome on my 196 must have been threaded at some stage, so anything will be better than what i have now.Also do you have a carb spacer for a 232 by any chance? The one on my Classic is cracked and it needs to be replaced. I'm not sure how common they are as the spacer I have has ports for PVC as well as EGR valve.
