Hi -

I'm looking for any information on this color for my '69 AMX.

The search function on this forum leaves me wanting, I even tried Google and steering it to this forum...

I guess what I am hearing is one problem is that the old number is for lacquer and there seems to be no new info for today's paints.

Any help on acquiring a good match?

Thanks -

- W

All AMC cars were painted with acrylic enamel at the factory in 1969 .
Where are you getting the information that that number is lacquer ?

one paint shop person - maybe he meant the crossover code... I don't know.

Anyway - anybody have a source for this color in today's industry code resources?

Try telling them 1969 AMC code P77, lately most color computers don't recognize the 77A....I just found this out trying to buy Big Bad Blue 2A came up as a Silver, but P2 worked perfect.
