I've got a bone stock 360 just sitting. I'd love to try this. Do you have a parts list available?

I actually have a spare "Kit" including the pistons, rods, and crank if you are interested.
Basically, you machine the crank to fit the rods and order the pistons to fit the rods and block. I will list up the part numbers of the rods when I get a chance. http://theamcforum.com/forum/rick-jones-just-built-a-killer-360-stroker-engine_topic18185.html |

Rick,
To post a functioning link I use the insert hyperlink from the menu on top of the window. It only works from the post reply window or new topic window. It doesn't have those icons in the quick reply window It's the fifth icon from the scissors looking icon. I paste the link into the box at the top right, in front of the word preview then I move to the left of what I just pasted in using the left arrow to the HTTP:// and remove HTTP:// from the link I just entered because when you click on preview it will carry the HTTP:// from the left side where it says address. That cannot be removed from the address window. then click on preview and then OK down below. Here's that link now hot to your engine build. http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?p=1688396#post1688396 |

You can PM me details for the "kit". I wouldn't mind knowing the specs for my own build though. We have some pretty good machine shops here in the Denver area. Bob tufcj |

Here is a picture of the connecting rods. Kinda expensive but, it is the only ones I could find off of the shelf that would work with the wide 360 journals.
IMG_4333 by Rick Jones, on Flickr Here are the specs on the Pistons. I ordered these to work in a 343 or 360 block. These pistons in a 360 block with 58 cc heads will end up with 9.2:1 compression ratio. I will post up the calculations later. I bought the pistons a few years ago so if I were to order them today, they would be more. 383StrokerKit by Rick Jones, on Flickr Edited by SC397 - Apr/16/2018 at 8:10pm |
