Look at the size of the injectors and throttles. That's why it's listed for an 8.

Perfect size... bad price!

I think when/if I go the EFI route I would be better off grabbing the head/intake/throttlebody/injectors/computer/wiring/ect off a 4.0L 91-95 Cherokee ( if my data is correct ) !

We have had a few at the Nest do the Howell upgrade.  IIRC most were pleased once the bugs were worked out.

Yeah, I guess it's not "Rambler priced", but it's a complete closed loop system.

The Mopar system would be my last choice. No tweak capabilities if the future setup changes.
Howell would be the way to go.

The Holley is a plain bare boned open loop so can't even be compared on the same field to me at least.

Turbo City makes a GM parts based 2V TBI system for Jeeps, but it's not cheap either at $1860 (http://www.turbocity.com/product_info.php?cPath=16_21&products_id=25). It looks very much like the Howell kit, but the Turbo City kit appears to use a larger throttle body and a 4V intake instead of adapting a smaller TB to the Jeep intake. That's why the price difference. For a modest power boost but a marked increase in drivability the $1100 Howell kit seems to be the best bet.  I haven't tried either, of course.

Holley used to make a 2V kit for smaller engines, I guess there wasn't enough demand to continue them.
