My understanding is that they are 7/16ths and uncapped. Are they also a low crown design?

Definitely uncapped and low crown.....pretty sure 7/16 is correct...I'd have to verify mine.  They had a  1 1/8" head diameter if I recall correctly.  Also had a thin plastic washer between the head and the bumper.

That was a rolling change to alleviate paint chipping on the assembly line. The very early big bad cars did not have them. I'm not sure when the switch over was, but mine was built late February and had them.

They are about the same dia as the bolt heads and have a square hole.

Mine is a late January build and has them.  If that is true then there wasn't many wthout them.

Mine is also a February build and had the plastic washers on the front bumper bolts only. The washers should be available thru Kennedy or APD.
