I had been using Baldwin B9 filters on the 290 in my Javelin. I can not get them anymore and need to change the oil soon. What other filters have a proper anti drain back and are easy to find?

I feel your going to get a really wide variety of comments on this one. Here are my top 3 filters.

1. Mobil 1
2. Wix
3. Purolator

It is important to mention that I have not ran the Wix or purolator in a long while since I am almost always able to find the Mobil 1. But in the event I can't find the Mobil 1 I use the Wix or Purolator.

I use Baldwin B9 and haven't had any trouble getting them through Amazon.

Edit - I see only three left on amazon, perhaps discontinued? A B39 is a short version of the B9 and would be an option as well. Here is another thread with this same info:

I use WIX.

I worked offshore tug boats and that's what we always used too.

I run the K&N oil filter. Mine has never had drainback issues.

AC PF-24 oil filter. Has the anti drain back valve.

I added more information to this post today because now that others posted after me I wanted to confirm the reason I switched to PF-24 AC Delco.

Wix and Napa filters, which I used exclusively prior to finding out they have quality control issues have been deleted from my list of oil filters as well.

Napa gold filters are rebranded wix filters. That's what I use.
