They are a canted, rotated valve symmetric port design - as any unlimited race design pushrod has gravitated to - for an AMC.

AFIK the first symmetric port canted valve head was the 429 Ford then the Boss/Cleveland, but other than the fundamental configuration pretty much everything is different.

The difficult part is adapting it to a bolt pattern and pushrod configuration intended for a siamese port port head. Ford had it easy as they were designing the whole engine; here I had to make the port configuration fit an exhaust side bolt pattern that is different at 3 of the 4 cylinders. That was a challenge! And things like getting the rocker to pushrod angle to vary less than .5 degree through its travel. I'm a little bias, but I like my solutions better than stuff like the Mopar Predator or the Visner stuff.

trying to get the 401 for my Rogue done  weather will not work with me  lol  401 .030 over 11.5-1 pistons 727 3000 stall full manual valve body  am 20 410 with a spool  car was stripped as far as interior goes  going with a 8 point cage  using bridged rocker heads  not sure on cam yet  have a 493-500 sitting on my shelf
