G'day All,

My name is Wayne Williams and I'm compiling a register for Australian Rambler Hornets. The aim of the register is to capture as much info off the cars themselves and enhance our knowledge of AMI Hornet production history and give us an appreciation of how rare and unique these cars truly are.
I am also using this register to research  the differences in model years and production numbers.

Great idea Wayne Smile. Will give us an indication of how many are left and what happened to some of them. Some people may have recorded the numbers of one's that were crashed or wrecked out years ago etc. Maybe another column on the Hornet's present condition might be pretty cool too ie registered, not registered, under restoration, parts car, wrecked, MIA etc. Very interesting to look at the numbers you already have. Looking forward to meeting you at the 2nd annual AMC/Rambler show in a couple of weeks to talk Hornet's Smile

Thanks Dave, I wrongly read it as H09-358 GK20627, makes more sense being 15 and 16 away from H0-342 GK20602 , Mike in WA's car.

Loving the photo's of the Aussie Hornet's to accompany the register Smile I don't know how to do the photo's but mine "HO9-103" is on page 35 of Aussie AMC pictures thread in front of the 'Rambler' caravan. It should look a bit better by the time it get's to the 2nd annual show in a couple of weeks. I will line all the Hornet's up so Wayne can take a good pic of them seperatly and all together. I don't think we will beat the record of 23 Hornet's in the one spot in the early 80's but we will at least be half way there. If you know any other Hornet owners encourage them to drive or trailer it to the show and be part of the action and meet Wayne and other Hornet owners Smile.

Hi Hornet owners out there. I am looking at fitting up some doors to my Hornet to get the ball rolling but my front hinges are not real good. What do people do with their hinges when they are flogged out? Rebuild? How? or does some-one sell pins/bushes? Any info would be great Smile

In the listing it says it is H09-480 and has a 3.8L 6. Is this an original 232?
