The website has been a bit neglected in recent times, however I have just completed a major overhaul of the media section.

There is lots of new stuff and a revised layout.

If it's been a while since you visited or you haven't seen it before then now is a good time to check it out:

Yeah!!  I found a cool 1968 Rambler Javelin article in a British magazine called Autocar. I try to get a photo for the link.

Does anyone in the Aussie Javelin world know a gent named Bob Layfield? He owned a 68 back in 1987 and sold it to Daniel Fleming.(Down in Danegong(SP?)

Bob lives/was living in Hay,NSW.

The present owner of that car is trying to track it's history, and has got as far back as this Bob Layfield. Here's an email I got from the present owner:

"Hello,
My name is John Cox and I'm now the latest custodian of 1968 Australian Javelin number 35. I'm trying to get a lead on the following gentleman that were previous overs of the vehicle. I believe that until October 1987 Bob Layfield of NSW owned the car and subsequently sold it to Daniel Fleming of Victoria. Daniel and his brother-in-law Deon Keacthie(sp?) were going to restore the car, bur eventually sold the car to Ludovic Guillou in Victoria, approximately 5 years ago. I purchased the car from Ludovic in July 2011. According to Deon, the car hasn't been road worthy for over 20 years, since there's no engine, trans., front end and such.I would like to collect as much paperwork, history and information as possible for the vehicle. I'm going to restore it to it's as bought condition."

Anyone who as any info is welcome to comment.
