This thread is to good to let die.
Young bloke visiting last week, good with stainless, kindly built us a complete 2 1/4" system for our 68 390.

The new exhaust looks very neat.
Is that an AC compressor mounted low on the LHS?
If so it would be a good place to keep it mostly out of view.

Yes, AC compressor is low LHS. Previous owner did some great work on this AMX.
( Exhaust is our first real effort on it )
You can also see the transmission oil cooler lines go to a seperate cooler up front.
The oil filter lines go to a filter mount up on the right side, front engine bay.
Power steering lines are routed along under radiator instead of under engine.
M12 Transmission dipstick moved over near engine oil dipstick.

For a bit of fun my Alamosa Aqua '69 AMX from down south would like to reply to your '68 Alamosa Aqua AMX with a few snaps. Who would have thought they only made 100 in that colour and two are in Oz. Love to see them together some day. Just from the few photos you put up the workmanship and finishing touch's on your AMX is very neat and professional. I've since added a new exhaust but don't have the luxury of a hoist to photo it.

Really glad I posted those pics now Allan.
Good to see things happening in the Aussie section and your car pics are real helpfull. Looks great.
Our Alamosa Aqua is a ring in. Was black when it came to Australia.
The 70 Javelin ( #16 ) that was parts donor for it was black as well.
