For those who have restored their grills--what silver paint did you use that is close to stock?
but it's been backordered to too late of a date.

Suggestions?
1969 Rebel SST (1970-1987)
1968 AMX (2005-2011)
1969 SC/Rambler (2011-2019)
1970 Javelin (2019 to ?)"Jane"

PPG has an argent silver I bought years ago and have painted several wheels with it. I think I still have the can. I'll post the formula number later today. Joe

AMX--this is the only thing I could find under "crestlite":

1969 Rebel SST (1970-1987)
1968 AMX (2005-2011)
1969 SC/Rambler (2011-2019)
1970 Javelin (2019 to ?)"Jane"

I am sorry to disappoint you but the paint code has faded on the can of paint and is unreadable. I am so sorry, but as I remember it was listed on the PPG chip chart I referenced in the paint store as "silver argent" for the color.

biker...Are you looking for the paint that sits in the flat of the mouth of the grill, or the paint that is for the face of the ribs?
