I missed ogling it at the Homecoming this year in Kenosha. I'm glad someone has the discipline to restore these to such a high level and keep it preserved.
I sure as heck can't stop modifying my amc and beating on it, LOL.

I would have loved to have been at homecoming. Between the hail damage to the tow rig and trailer coming home from Gettysburg, trying to purchase a new trailer, and then going north to work on the bad forest fires we had this summer I had to cancel my reservations and the trip to K-town...next time I will be there! Who says I don't beat on mine?

Wow stunning restoration. For those that say we cant go to Mars, this is an example of just what can be done with vision, willpower, hard work and patience.
I vote Tony for the AMC Forum Hall of Fame

So today I picked up Peggys new shoes! Decided that the tires were approaching 9-10 years old and why risk an issue on the car. Plunked down the credit card and purchased a nice set of Polyglas for her. Hoping to get the wheels off and down to the tire shop next week and get them installed!

Looks just like the NOS D-70 tires I sold to Ian.
