Does anyone have a schematic or image showing a typical throttle cable/linkage set up for an AMX/Javelin V8 with a 4 BBL?

I "think" I have all the parts and pieces and sorta kinda know where they go, but would like to make sure.

Thanks.

I found this in my parts book.  Hope it helps.  All later models ('70 up???) used a cable throttle which is WAY easier to hook up.

Thanks bobsterfl.

Yeah, guess I should have noted the year of the car...I have a 72 and it has a cable.   And, you are right--the cable set-up is a lot simpler. I found a couple of images of 360 engines online and it almost seemed too simple, which is why I was asking for a diagram.

The car came in pieces and the previous owner didn't mark anything.  It came with a large plastic storage bin labeled "brackets, linkages, etc" (guess that narrows it down).   I think I have everything except the return spring which I should probably replace anyway.

You have to watch out for the cable brackets, Jeeps (some models) used a different bracket then the cars. The cable may not line up properly if you have the wrong bracket.
