I got curious today and measure the diameter of my 69 AMX (go-pack) sway bar and coil springs (wire diameter) as well as a low mileage V8 69 Javelin (without Go-pack).

AMX:
Sway bar diameter .935
Coil spring wire diameter .550

Javelin V8
Sway bar diameter .898
coil spring wire diameter  .515

I have a 69 Javelin with go-pack in the hangar and will get those measurements tomorrow.

Only the left side coil springs were measured.  Neither car had A/C.

I would have thought that would have been expected since go pack includes heavy duty suspension.

The only surprise would be to me, is to find the 70 on up larger diameter steering link, on the go pack AMX. If it was a very late 69 or previous owner knew of such a swap back in the day.

A steering link difference would surprise me. HD suspension was a springs/shocks/sway bar thing.
