Will a 68/69 Javelin steering  column  interchange with a 68/69 Rambler American? Thanks!

I put a column from a 73 Javelin in my 68 Rogue. It was about 2 inches lomger so I got rid of the dished original steering wheel and used a flat S-10 wheel.
Why Ramblers? Chicks dig 'em. Whatever it is, I can take it apart.
