I'm starting to restore (outside back to original stock) a '64 330 waqon with the idea of eventually giving it a V-8 transplant & making it a street car/bracket racer. It'll be some time before I'll be able to get it to a certified auto scale so I'm wonderin' what the aproximate weight is? Any help? (right now a L-head 6 w/standard trans)
Tom P.S. how 'bout Hornet hatchbacks, Pacers, heck, any AMC just for my future ref.? |

'87 Cherokee, '64 American 330 wagon, '65 American 440H
Searchin' for parts is half the fun! Them Chevy, Ford & Mopar guys have it to damn easy! |

I know that the Gen 2 V8's (290-401) are only 40 lbs. heavier than the L6 with both motors in stock trim. Change to an aluminum intake on the V8 and the weight should be about the same as the stock 6 cylinder.
