Was in the Air Force stationed in Germany..well back then it was still West Germany from '75-77..spent some time at Wiesbaden AB and then Sembach AB just outside of Kaiserlautern. Miss the beer, frauleins and the autobahn in that order. Wished now I had my old '69 Javelin back then and cruising the autobahn and listening to Kraftwerk..."fun fun fun on da autobahn"...
 . Maybe next year the wife and I can get over and toss some valve covers around...once had a taste for Carlsberg Elephant beer..ummmmm.

Working hard in the limited Time i have on my Javelin... to get it on the Road... Hardest Part will be the DOT...   A-V Nauha, anyone else coming from germany? |

I think you're the only one from Germany this year. Can't be 100% sure, but around 90% sure anyhow.
Just booked a band for Saturday, there'll be country/blues/roots music served by Boothill Billy (see youtube if interested). Likely booking a rockabilly band for Friday, but we'll see... |

And now its clear, i wont make it till Finnland with the Javelin.
 Damn buerocratics at the DOT. So i will end up with an Company car, or stay at home. |

 SirDigger, Finnish authorities do not bother old classic cars, so any issues you may have with paperworks they're not in Finland... Is there something I can help with? I can get you Finnish transfer plates (only about 15 euros + insurance about 20 euros per day if you don't have one) if that helps? |

AV I´ll still would have to get the Car 400 km to the Port, so the Javelin stays at home.
Even its finished, (just the Aligment..) but i cant get an Date at the DOT, I´ll explain it in Säkylä. And my Daily blew his rear Axle Sunday, I´m waiting for an whole ReplacementAxle, should be here today, but the FreightCompany intercourses it up, and its still in Berlin. |
