that´s basicly the same as boot-toss, but with a valve cover.

SirDigger, how about taking a cargoferry from Rostock or Trawemünde to Helsinki? they are usually cheaper, and its just 207km to Säkylä.

There is Rambler Pushing too, and I heard that one of the Finish National Sports is
Wife-Carrying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wife-carrying .....

The Ferry Rostock-Helsinki is no more an Option, its just for Goods,
no Passengertransportation anymore.

A German Guy I know from Sweden, plans to go there too... so I maybe do the longway over Sweden.  (Next Time make the Meeting close to Vesteros PowerMeet, would be awesome to attend both events)

Don't worry, caber toss and log rolling are strange. I would throw the whole engine sometimes, but the gen 1 v8 is a bit heavy.

maybe better not to do that in car shows and meetings, need too much space LOL

does anyone else race their valve covers or is it a finnish invention...

Havent seen them throwing Vavlecovers in Kenosha.... so it must be a Finish Invention.
Which Kind of Covers did you throw? Chrome? Alu? V8 or I6? I have to do some Training LOL

I saw there is a Racetrack near the Meeting Spot...

Other Question, how about Food&Drinks?
The Homepage of the Camping Spot is in Suomi only...
and the Translation from Google... is terrible

i meant the valvecover drag racing, it´s also popular around here.

i´m not sure about the rules in valve cover throw, but i think everyone throws the same cover wich the judges choose.

The restaurant at Kristalliranta serves lunch from 12 o clock to 16 o clock every day.
they also serve beer and snacks (sandwiches etc.) and dinner.

The restaurant is open from 10 o clock in the morning to 02 o clock during weekends

i think they have palces to make a fire and have a few beers, there must be a grocerystore nearby...

they also rent boats if you want to go rowing in the lake.

please ask if you have more questions, i´m happy to translate as well as i can
