I put mine in the front corner for several reasons:
- the 50' hose reel can reach most anywhere I want inside or outside
- I drain outside
- sandblast on the lawn and no mess to clean up (just make sure the wind isn't blowing to the house or you will be sleeping in the doghouse)

A friend of mine repurposed an old box spring mattress, plywood top and bottom .  put it above his office , enclosed and insulated it.
the walls are 3 ft from the base so he can get all the way around to do any maintenance .  drain and shutoff are on floor lvl. Draws Air from outside through a 4" vent.
it's so quiet he had to add a light to remind him it was on .
