Hi, This is my first post so I apologize in advance if I have broke any etiquette. I recently acquired a 69 Javelin sst. It did come with seat belts installed, over the shoulder belts in front and lap belts in back. But they are non functional, rusty and have seen better days. Any advice on where I can find new seat belts for my car? (source?) Can these cars be retro fitted with seat belts from other cars?

Well if you clean them up like the guys in this forum show, then BLAM!!!, they can look brand new like this!!! I just did this yesterday. I thought these grimy red seatbelts were shot until I did a little research on here and did what the guys said, now they look like new.

You can use just about any aftermarket seat belt on Javelin. Just keep the old ones for an idea on length.
SnakeOyl, if they are still around, also restores seatbelts.

Put an ad in the "wanted" section. You may get lucky.
