How about an amc specific spacer for the t-housing with 2 3/8npt holes in the back for water lines? I would buy a couple of those

That would be easy and cheap to make.
How thick?
Where would you want the holes?

Actually since Robb Mc discontinued his 90 deg. swivel t stat housing maybe you could make a run like his with a taller flange that will accept two 3/8npt holes in the back side

I was thinking robs was 90 deg but I'm wrong..and I do not see it listed on his website anymore...With a taller base for the bypass fittings I would need 90 deg outlet.

Tell you what, I will draw up a 90 degree base.
RobbMC's O-Ringed Billet Thermostat looks awesome
but I wanted one to look more traditional.
RobbMC's would be rather cheap to make in comparison.

90 degrees on the same plane as the stock 30 degrees?
you can rotate off that plane by a few degrees, but not a whole lot.

90 degree base is quite tall, better a "standard" billet base with a angle pipe fitting?

Anyway an 90 degree base will have to be quite tall to clear both hoses.
Alternately a really basic piece with two AN or NPT fittings at 90 degrees to each other (top view) could be the same height, but it would look clunky like RobbMC's O-Ringed Billet Thermostat or even more so.

Well I think I know what the part is, and looks way cool. Serious bling and probably works better than stock too. You guys never cease to amaze me.

Stock is excellent, this only offers
a change to something more exotic and
the ability to easily polish, anodize
and powder coat. It is also new
and is a superior replacement to those
nasty cast iron housings.

And of course custom fittings can be machined at little extra cost.
after all it begins as a solid piece of bar stock.

I'm referring to the angle of the outlet (up and down but clocked the same as oem) for the top radiator hose just to make sure we're on the same page. And the more I think about it 90 deg may not be ideal...maybe half less of whatever angle the stock outlet is? If you are going to make the whole piece...
I can use just the spacer for the bypass hoses if you want to make a few iof them..
