That's pretty much it Dan. The factory cable might still work. Here's what we are looking at, in my opinion my dad is taking too much of an engineer's perspective, I think all I have to do is get a universal throttle cable and hook that bad boy up. 
On another note I had it running when we installed the head and such a few days ago, sounds and feels good!

Dave,
Thanks for the pics. Saved me from getting the wrong stuff.
His 2bbl throttle is running the save way as a V8. Looks like the brackets will need to be modified V8 ones, or custom. Might be another trip to the junkyard to look at a Jeep.

My son's changed the 1 bbl to a Holley 2bbl on his 232, using a newer factory Jeep intake/exhaust setup.
We know the old rod-style throttle has to go, and have installed a '70 AMX pedal inside.
Now, the question is, what's next? How do we get the return spring and cable mount attched.
Anyone have some photos of the stock '69 and up set-up? Or what they've customized?
