I have a 1974 and 1968 service manual. I know there were some body changes in 74 and that the 68 was a different car, but will these two manuals cover me for any brake repairs or will I have to seek out a 71 TSM?]]>

Grossly over simplified as the exact amount would be determined by the ratio of the spring point compared to the outer end of the arm.<br><br>Hold one end of your pencil steady on your desk. Now using the other hand, move the MIDDLE of the pencil 1/2". Makes a huge difference reducing that typical grinding friction and only cost a couple of bucks including washers. I just threw in the unique hardware layout for strength.&nbsp;<br><br>I only go about 2 revolutions at a time per side keep things even. Even with that snails pace though, removing the spring only took about 15-20mins]]>
