If you have, how about some pics and if you like them or not. Also, a quick rundown on how you did it. I have a nice pair of seats from a Thunderbird SC I am thinking of putting in my car, but not sure how to do it.

Before I get it out for the spring, I was wondering if anyone had an idea about what could be wrong. Let me give you a little background:

75 Gremlin
258 single barrel
straight pipe 1-3/4"
~65,000 miles

It only misses once the car is warmed up. I can start it and drive about 15 miles down the highway before it gives me trouble.

I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor have maybe 5000 miles on them, I replaced the coil.

I'm thinking there may be a problem with the fact that its straight piped, but I've heard about others doing this with no problem. I was also thinking there might be something with the carb?

I appreciate your input!

My money would be on the points. Weird misses are often due to the little arc mound that builds on the points and every now and then causes them not make good contact thus momentarily killing the spark. For whatever reason, it seems to be worse when things get good and hot. You stated you replaced all the other stuff but did not do the points so they may be overdue.
