Assuming its 10mph high at 60mph, the speedo is 15% off. To slow the speedo down, you need a gear with 15% more teeth. 32 X 1.15 = 36.8 Or, a 37 tooth gear. Double check my math, I am not a math whiz.

What speedometer gear would be correct for a '69 AMX speedometer (140 MPH) and 727 auto trans? Got 3.54 gears and 255 60 15 tires.
 
Currently has a 32 tooth gear and speedo reads nearly 10 MPH too high.
