The NOS ones from the AMC supplers are about 110. You can get a new one from Rare parts for 75. The lower ones are about $125 from rare parts and $200 from AMC suppliers, If the control arms are shot good luck finding them. I cleared everyone out last year doing mine. The used arms I got from Galvins and APD were cracked or bent so skip the used ones and find some NOS ones.

Some notes to a first timer working with the lower trunnion design. Be sure to have the trunnion caps tack welded to the arms. Not fully welded just tacked,0 use the correct shocks and retain the lower shock spacer, torque the lower shock bolt to 125.

Uppers are different. It really does depend on whether the problem is the upper or lower trunnion and just how bad it is. The lower has to be replaced if bad. The upper is replaced in the big car, but an American upper can usually be repaired, but it's not cheap if a machine shop does most of the work. Here's a site for the upper trunnion repair in an American: http://www.wps.com/AMC/1963-Rambler-American/Suspension/index.html.

If the trunnion cross pin seized the upper arms are probably shot also, but there is a fix for that. Requires welding, and a slightly longer pin. Let us know what trunnion is bad and how bad -- a couple photos would be nice, even is still on the car if it's the upper trunnion.
