On the way to the AMO annual get together in gettysburg last year i blew the engine in my 1965 Marlin,we towed the car home (400 miles) and got it in the shop, time for repairs! I am going to rebuild the engine and Transmission ,so we can make the AMO show in Auburn ,Ind. this year.I was planning on pulling the engine and tranny together,i have done a fair amount of these jobs over the years but i haven't dealt with the AMC torque tube set-up. Does anybody have any hints for disassembly and re-assembly?

I highly suggest TSM. Some have rolled rear end back to pull torque tube, supported car and pulled engine, trans out. If it's v8 car, I can help with parts if needed. Good luck.
