Here is the beginning of my 77 Hornet wheelstander project. This car has a lot of racing heritage. I bought it from Kruse racing and it was built using components of the original Kruse Burger 74 Hornet raced from the 70's to today. The 8 point cage, tying of the frame, and tubs were done by Hi Speed Welding. Rick Kruse built the rack and pinion steering and Franks Big Gears built the 4.56 spooled 9" in the rear. It is at Jason Schubert Racing to have the cage beefed up and have four more points put in. I'm going to be installing an AMC 401 soon and a 727. I will keep you posted on progress with pictures and bio.
Ha, I'll get the photos up when I figure out how to get them from my phone to here! Edited by wttlhunter - Nov/15/2012 at 9:48am |

Ok, thanks. I was hoping I could do it from my phone because I won't have access to my computer for a while.

The Hornet is almost ready! We did all of the chassis work and replaced all of the windows with Lexan. New saftey gear and tires are installed. We are in the process of installing Moroso springs and QA1 shocks. All we need is the new trans, drive shaft, shifter and to tune the engine. I would like to come up with a cool and unique RWB paint scheme that will utilize the existing white (keep costs down). I love the Wally Booth scheme but I thought maybe something a little more unique that will stand out. Any ideas?
