Phoebe Too came home from Tucson on Memorial Day and we are very pleased.
  Still have some details to finish; carpet, weatherstripping for doors, emergency brake cables to name a few. Yes, the hood looks high. We got it the best we could and the back at the hinges will not go any lower. For the weak of heart, take caution looking at the next pic:  |

Started work to touch up the floor, seal seams, then lay new insulation and carpet.

We had gnats with tiger shark teeth for 3 weeks which put a dent in carpet installation. We are back on that with about 3/4 of the floor covered. Well, Krista is doing most of the carpet work. While she was insulating the floor Saturday, I cleaned up some rust behind both rear wheel wells and coated with rust converter. Made some fiberglass repairs there Sunday. I pulled the pitted and dull 78 tail light assemblies, polished a nice set from a 75 and put them on with a set of good 81 gaskets. Big shiny difference! She got her fist bath yesterday too. The Weber Fire has dumped ashes on everything this past week so she was looking pretty neglected.
 They are not perfect but they do shine.    |
