I'm putting in a 727 in my 68 Rebel. What are people using as a dipstick tube for a big body car. Thanks

Lokar is one option - on my '69 AMX I used a Mopar BB (not SB) locking dipstick and matched tube from Amazon. I did have to adjust the tube very slightly in two places and weld on a new mounting bracket for the block. You may not have to.

$46 shipped and next day delivery with Prime:

Allstar Performance ALL69121 Locking Transmission Dipstick for Chrysler TorqueFlite 727 BB Transmission

The dipstick is locking and the tube uses the newer style grommet, not the old style o-ring, so it is much less prone to leaking.
