Installed T10 and all looks stock for SC360. Does anyone sell correct kit for Hornet SC360? If the do, will they sell back half as Gremlin?
So far have asked 2 vendors and they say no. Would have to buy 2 full kits, gremlin and hornet. Seems like an easy request. Must have full kit for back too. Over wheel wells. Woody |

AMC did not install a T10 in the Gremlin? I am sure they put a 4sp in them what was it and why would that carpet not work? I am also sure others have T10 in Gremlins what did they do?
Also when I was looking for carpet for my 75 Gremlin I had to look over the kits as not all of them came with the "full" rear to do the wheel wells and rear of back seat.
think of this as a bump

My understanding is that Gremlins never came stock with a 4spd. Only the Hornet SC360.
Hornets came with T10, SC360 and the cars front section is the same. I have the correct "hump" mount for the T10 so I would like the carpet to fit correctly with stock circle ring boot. Does anyone know of a place that makes carpet for SC360s and Gremlins? I'd like to combine this so it looks correct. Edited by woody - Mar/30/2012 at 5:28pm |

Correct that early Gremlins never came with 4 speeds; '77-78's were available with the SR4 4-speed.

Have you checked with Auto Custom Carpet In Anniston AL? You should be able to order a front only for a '71 SC360 and a rear for a '72 Gremlin.

No one makes the correct 4 spd carpet for an SC/360.
You can get the front carpet for an SC/360 but it's only availabe as an automatic, the correct 4 spd carpet for an SC/360 is not avaialble. I don't think I need to tell you that the auto carpet for an SC/360 is the same as a Gremlin front carpet. So let me reiterate.... "No one makes the correct 4 spd carpet for an SC/360."
