That looks like a nice setup. I threw around the idea of electric fans but decided to leave it for the future. My Rebel is still running hotter than before. Either that or my gauge is not accurate. I am seeing symptoms that my gauge is lying to me.

Definitely hook up another gauge to get a real verified reading and go from there. I am running an aluminum flow-kooler water pump also with the heater core bypassed temporarily as well.

I replaced the gauge. It was not accurate. I did put antifreeze and 1 bottle of water wetter in it. The thermostat is out right now. Until I get the temp thing straightened out there is no reason to put it in, until Winter. It is better than before. I am usually around 190 in city driving but I still get up around 260 when traveling at higher speeds. The battle rolls on.

Not much progress. No motivation lately. I did make a gauge bracket to replace the radio with a few gauges. I need to make some modifications and add the back lighting. The REBEL lettering and small AMC logo will light up from behind.

I also got real tired of the oversize steering wheel so I got the smaller diameter Grant wheel visible in the last picture.

No idea. I never got into anything nitty gritty here.

That's a really great idea for reusing the radio space!  I might steal that idea.

I saw a car for sale once that had 3 gauges in that space. I imagine he used a slightly smaller gauge and mounted them in a triangular shape so they'd all fit in the space. Looked pretty good.
