I do apologize for not being more specific when I stated that 67-69 Camaro rear shocks are the same as the70 Javelin rear shocks. I was hoping you would understand that if you bought shocks for a 67 thru 69 Camaro that they would fit your 70 Javelin.

I can prove for you what akimmet said about Monroe vs. Gabriel.

The White70 has a set of Gabriel Hijackers on the rear that were installed in 1974 or 75. They're still on the car and still function, although I will admit they won't hold 25 to 30 psi over a winter of sitting unused. When installed the car had about 60K on the odometer, it's over 130K now. The car doesn't bounce at all.  I've never had a set of Monroe's last that long....

Yes I understood about the camero, I have KYB now and they lasted 4 years front and back.I put the eddy AVS in the front and now need rears, the Monroe 58510 have small coils which I think will help in stiffness .My leaf springs are oem re curved and lifted my rear 2 inchs which is great since the stock look is not me. I will also look at others, but in 2018 I wonder if they are not all made by the same company and labels are changed .

Even the tubing that was supplied with the Gabriel Hijackers that's on the car now is still good.

I see a review or two now stating the tubing isn't very good.

Regardless, good luck with your endeavors.
