After many years of it being a 50 footer, I have begun the stripping process of the main body. Once I get the shell down to bare metal I will remove the doors and glass and begin the process of zinc priming the body and start bodywork from there. As you can see the old bodywork needs to be taken out..the qtr had numerous dents so a skim was required back then and will require another to keep it straight. I have purchased qtr patch panels from Kennedy American and will use only where needed. This side does not look too bad...but does have some herpes down low.

Took down some more mud...not too bad actually. Patch panels will be required though.

Ford 9" out of a 78 Lincoln versailles (Granada) It is a perfect fit...perch to perch and backing plate to backing plate is exact. It has a Richmond Detroit locker with 4:11's (Soon to be 3:55's as the gearing was too high for driving around town)

And to think that I had an impure thought when I read about stripping.........
Why Ramblers? Chicks dig 'em. Whatever it is, I can take it apart.
