$100.00 & up on the console. The  later (maybe 72 & up) consoles have the same body, but the shifter & the shifter surround is different. There was not a 4 speed console available in 1970. Seats seem to go for $50.00-150.00 for decent cores.

Console on ebay, missing the trim around the shifter. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-AMC-Ambassador-SST-Console-/320912984613?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ab7e78a25&vxp=mtr

The '70 Rebel consoles are the same as found in Ambassadors & Matadors but the AMX and Javelin ones are different.
I asked an AMC parts guy that very question as to whether Javelin & Rebel consoles were the same and I got a resounding "Nope" they aren't anywhere near the same. I almost bought one that was for sale on evilbay but it was for a Javelin....advertiser said it would also fit a Rebel, Matador, etc. Good thing I held off & asked the "AMC Guy" as it would have been a pricey hard learned lesson. It was also missing the compartment lid. Never be shy about asking someone who may know the answer.

The console that you are talking about for a Rebel is very scarce; according to some AMC folks who are more "in the know" about these things than I am.

I did latch onto one that was removed from a "Machine" and had the shifter and linkage included.....complete, complete, complete, & I saw pictures of it before I jumped in. I paid $ 200.00 for the whole kit and kaboodle + $ 35.00 UPS to my friends place in Me. Both are in very good shape....one small crack in the console, near the bottom other than that, a little SEM to restore the colour, repair the small crack and she'd be real nice.Smile

Now if I could only unload the 2  73'-74 Javelin rear tailite panels I bought for a former friend who welched out on meAngry, I'd be very happy.

That's the same as the one I bought, only difference is, mine is black.

The AMC parts guy I got my info from told me that in over 25 yrs. of selling AMC items, he's never had more than 3 ever up for sale.
The same console fits 67-73 Ambo/Mat/Rebel auto floor shift.
He told me that most people opted for column shift....ergo, very few available today, out of whole cars, even fewer out of wrecking yards taking into consideration the amount of crushing done over the years.
He did say he sold one on eBay a few yrs. ago and it went for $400.00 + shipping.

I think I got very lucky.
