I'm building a historic race car according to international fia regulations. I started this about a year ago but the progress has been quite slow, but now I'll try to put some more time to this project again.
This is what I started with, a nice rust free javelin that I imported from San Diego last year It's a base model with 304 + 3speed floor shift. Original color BBO I had the body soda blasted, it's amazingly rust free Only places that needed welding was behind the rear wheels Some surface rust in the trunk, needed a little bit of sand blasting Welded all the seams for strength Had to spray it with primer because its been taking me too long and it started to get some surface rust in some places |

Lookin good so far. Now is the time to modify the floor for the side exit exhaust and weld in some frame connectors. You better grab that "holy grail" 4 bolt main 360 that I saw somewhere. I'd bet you can find some Mini-lites in England.
