Well I have
head lights
Front and rear flashers
Brake lights.
Can’t get any turn signals or rear running lights.

I need to get rear running lights and turn signals so I can put it on the road.

I gutted it today. Pulling the motor and gonna sell it putting a LS2 in it . I have had this car for a year and done nothing but fight with it to get it running so decided to scrap all the drive train and start over with new stuff and gonna rewire it

So you can't get a 50 year old carbureted car to run and the simpler solution is to swap in a modern fuel injected motor. I've heard it all now. Seriously though, good luck with whatever you decide. Andy

I have more than one car. I did get the carb right. Yes the plan always has been to put EFI on it. Now the javelin I will be gutting in the next few weeks for a wiring harness I will be making. It will end up with a duel efi intake on it. Some Moran did not know anything about wiring and caused me a bunch of work. I would post pics but the site is too hard to post pics on.

I decided to keep the 390 and sold the LS yesterday. Since it’s a real big bad blue gonna keep it all true to AMC. Thanks to some guys talking me into it.

I like your choice! I am a big appreciator of hot rods, it just does not make sense in the case of an original 390 car. I am sure if you want an LS2 powered Javelin someone here can get you a solid body with a less desirable drivetrain to play with.

Meanwhile, lots of people here to help out with the car you have. Please let us know!

Mine is original 360 but I have a 70 390. Just need to decide which I want to put in my car to keep now.

Fair enough, but just having the correct basic engine type helps and besides, you wont have to cut or modify things to get it to fit. And a 360 is a good motor in its own right, just ask Tony!
