The hood in the middle is for this AMX.
I did get all three. in the deal.

This is the only one I've seen it on, but it is a early AMX.  I haven't taken the fenders off my 68 parts AMX car yet.

Understanding is very early '68 AMX's had those gussets added at the factory until the unibody was revised to include them as an intergral part of the panel, unaware of actual dates of change.  Wow scored (3) hoods in the deal  along with the entire dis-assembled car.

The deal was two 68 AMX's 390 auto all taken apart and a parted out 69 Javelin 290 auto.
Only one 390 and the 290 in the deal.

i had a calcutta 68,390,4spd,air,tilt,it had the gussetts also,i remember it was hard to sandblast underneath them when i did the troughs,sold the car during a divorce in 95 to a guy in nj,and then he sold it....anyone have it?
