All the info came with the car. I got two AMX's from Stevens both were taken apart by him.
He got them when he was 16. He sold them to me when he was 40, he got in the dirt track raceing and never got back to the AMX's
I haven't started working on the AMX yet just getting thing together before I start and saveing cash.
I used patch pannels on my Donohue from Kennedy's they fit good.
The floors are good in this one.
I was going to take more photos to post.
I would like to know why it was sold 3 times in 1968.

You've answered a question for me!
My 68 has those and they didn't look 'original', thought they might be for hood pins.
(Spring compressor there when I got the car)
Do you have this under the back window?

Just realized, I've got the same car as you! Great color combination you got there...I'm a little biased though.

It an aluminum bar of some kind, like a door jamb or something (has a profile). It was in the car when I got it. Can't figure out what it was for. Any idea how many cars were made with the extra trough gusset? Did you find any documentation on them? Thanks - Dave |

I was referring to the trough gussets. Have you seen these before? How long were they used? Maybe there's a trough expert out there.? |
