I had a problem with the dash, parking/running lights, and taillights. I eventually got them working, but the front parking lights go out when I pull the headlight switch all the way out and the headlights go on. A friend told me this function maybe factory and I do not have a 68 wiring diaghram. So do I still a a problem and if so what could it be? I still have the headlight switch out of the dash and part of the interior apart and don't want to put everything back together until I'm sure problem is solved.

I think the law changed in 1969 to require parking lights to be on with the headlights. Before that, the parking lights were only parking lights. There is nothing wrong with your car. Joe |
