Is that capable of 87 octane? If so, that's a lot of snoose for pump gas

May I ask, back there a couple post it says:
"401 Wiseco 27cc dish pistons and Molnar 5.858" rods. Pistons are .050 out of hole with Felpro .045 compressed gaskets"...
where I would imagine it is pistons are .005" out of the hole ?
I am NOT "picking", I am just asking, and may I ask the Cam Overlap at .005 and .050 ?
Lotta "other brand" fellas I know would & have refuse to believe me if & when told about AMC HP...
Look forward to once water tight seeing 500 / 500 !  on pump gas and 9:1 CR, Thanks, awesome !

I think John was figuring 450-475 & 500,

I liked the way 500/500 sounded better,
but I'm not sure he's setting the bar exactly there.
(I didn't mean to put the pressure for 25-50 more ponies on him with my 500/500 post Shocked).

I would think it's .005" too,
if that's the case I like the way the 401 pistons & long rods fit the short deck 390's!

Ran the 390 on the dyno today with a fresh set of heads. Very hot here today, 90 degrees and 70% humidity

John what happened at 1:07. Looks like it went to full throttle but the engine slowly crept up. Did you loose fuel pressure during the test? Did you see your fuel pressure?
We are just about to forge new AMC V8 crankshafts.. please check here

1.07?

Not sure what you mean. Fuel pressure was 6.8-7 PSI
