I need to know, please, what engines my newly rebuilt 1964 BW Flash-O-Matic trans will bolt right up to and function properly without any modifications...aside, obviously, from a 1964 196 OHV.  For example, will it work with a 199 or 232, and for what years?  Appreciate the help folks.  Thanks. counsel62@hotmail.com

I will work on a 199/232 built through 1971 but you'll need to change the bell housing.  Note that cars with the 232 had a slightly heavier duty version of the trans.

O K, so one more thing I'd need to buy then...just the bell housing (different bolt patterns I'm guessing)? Which I'd imagine folks don't just take off the auto transmissions they're already mounted to...so I wouldn't expect a big supply of just bell housings, as opposed to "buy my 1968 auto trans and I'll throw in the bell housing." (:-)  Thanks for the help tho, I appreciate it.
